  • GUEST INFORMATION - during Covid-19 pandemic - Staying Safe, Staying Well

    We have done everything possible to ensure your safety during the pandemic closely adhering to Visit England and Government cleaning protocols and using products tested to

    BS EN 1276 (Multi-surface cleaner) tested to kill 99.999% and products tested to BS EN 14476 (Cleaner sanitizer) - Virucide tested and tested to kill 99.999%.

    We are proud to have been awarded the ‘We’re Good to Go’ Visit Britain/Visit England certification (although this has been withdrawn, we still keep the protocols in place) and the AA Covid-19 Confident certification which ensures and enhances a safe coronavirus free environment for you.

    During this time, for your safety and that of ourselves, we are asking guests to bring their own bed linen, towels, tea towels, oven gloves, bath and pedestal mats. The mattress, pillow and duvet protectors will be changed for your arrival

    It is imperative that you inform us should you or one of your party have suspected symptoms of coronavirus. Advice should be sought from either the doctor’s surgery or the hospital. If you are confirmed to have contracted the virus you will be expected to leave the premises immediately and return home to isolate and follow medical advice.

    Keys

    On your key ring are keys to the outer front door, your accommodation, windows locks and padlock into the woodshed, garden and games room which is accessed via the black stable door on the far left in the parking area, next to the red letter box and notice board. (Stable Cottage can access these areas from the back door. The large key is for the main house front porch door should you wish to obtain leaflets, DVDs or tapes). All keys and key fobs are sanitised before being placed in the resealable bag.

    Sanitizer

    Hand rub, Blade QAC Multi-surface 99.999% kill bactericidal cleaner (please keep out of reach from children), blue semi-disposable all-purpose cloths and black bin liners are supplied in your accommodation.

    Your accommodation has been cleaned in keeping with government and tourist board guide lines using Blade QAC Multi-surface 99.999% kill cleaner (BS EN 1276) and Para Gene Plus Terminal 99.999% kill Cleaner Sanitiser (BS EN 1276 & BS EN 14476 - Virucide Tested)

    Leaflets

    In the reception hall. Please take them but do not put them back into the rack

    Refuse/Recycling

    On departure dispose of your household refuse in a sealed/tied black plastic sack and place in the black wheelie bins in the car parking area. Black bin collection is every other Thursday

    Recycling - Place in marked plastic bins in the woodshed. Recycling collection is every Monday morning

    Ventilation

    On departure open windows to aid dispersal of harmful bacteria

    DVD/Video

    Once viewed please leave on the table in your accommodation so they can be sanitized after your departure

    Internet

    The Lincombe House Wi-fi pass code is on the welcome sheet in your accommodation

    Crockery etc

    Ensure all crockery, cutlery, glassware, cooking utensils are thoroughly washed with detergent

    Games Room

    Hand rub will be placed near the door into the games room – please use before playing any of the games. We will be using Blade QAC 99.999% kill disinfectant on surfaces and equipment. You may wish to bring your own darts, pool cues and table tennis bats and balls
