Best of all Worlds

For the world of the coast there is, of course, picturesque Lee Bay, the jewel in the crown of North Devon. Stop at The Grampus Inn for lunch, and take a wander around Lee's two stunning National Garden Scheme gardens. The bustling town of Woolacombe, with its 2 mile long sandy beach, is a quick drive or a rambling coastal walk away. Further afield, Putsborough, Saunton Sands & Croyde Bay are all ideal for surfing and bathing - the list is endless.

For the world of the countryside, choose a balmy summer's evening to watch the sheepdog and falconry display on the rolling hills around Lincombe, or relax with a glass of wine & BBQ on our large patio area and lawn, overlooking the Fuchsia Valley, ablaze with scarlet flowers in season. Take a trip out to discover Exmoor and Dartmoor, and the beautiful Torridge and Lorna Doone valleys - the list is endless.

For the world of hamlets, villages and towns - walk or cycle the Tarka Trail straight into Ilfracombe, stroll around the good selection of shops, well-kept parks and Runnymede Gardens near the sea front with bandstand, stream and flower beds. Drive out to Clovelly with its steep cobbled street and harbour, Braunton with its bustling square, Barnstaple and its Pannier Market with fresh local produce. End with a meal - accompanied by the most spectacular sunset at the Lee Bay Hotel - the list is endless.

There are many more worlds to explore - outstanding valleys with streams and waterfalls, various harbours, historic houses, churches, cottages, National Trust attractions, and many sporting activities, including golf, horse riding, tennis, bowling and clay pigeon shooting. Do come and join us here, it is the one secret we want to share.  Book your North Devon Holiday Cottage today!
