Braunton & District Museum, The Bakehouse Centre, Caen Street, Braunton - Explore Braunton's long association with the sea, the importance of local agriculture & what it was when a small contingent of American soldiers were stationed here during World War II. Toilets adjacent, disabled access, adjacent free car park.
Cobbaton Combat Collection, Chittlehampton, Umberleigh Large collection of military vehicles and wartime memorabilia. Shop. NAAFI Wagon serves light refreshments. 
Combe Martin Museum, The Parade, Seaside, Combe Martin - small museum showing old village industries of silver mining, lime quarrying and burning, agriculture, horticulture, maritime history. Shop, parking adjacent but difficult disabled access.
Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park, Combe Martin Wild life (monkeys, timber wolves, snow leopards etc); Theme park - full size dinosaurs; Sea lion shows; falconry displays; Tropical butterfly house etc. Talks and howling shows by Shaun Ellis (or one of his staff) the wolf behaviour expert.
Dartington Crystal, Great Torrington Watch the craftsmen transform hot molten crystal into wonderful items. Live demonstrations. Have your hand or foot cast in glass, paint your own glass, have a go at glass blowing, make your own jewellery. Visitor centre, factory tour, café, restaurant, cream teas. Factory shops.
Exmoor Zoo, South Stowford, Bratton Fleming, Barnstaple Daily events. The zoo cares for over 200 species of animals and birds. Cheetahs, Penguins, Alpacas, Monkeys, Mongoose, Otters, Meerkats, Wallabys, Cranes, Hornbills, etc.
Ilfracombe Museum, Wilder Road, Ilfracombe Fascinating collection of over 20,000 items of natural history, victoriana, maritime, minerals, archaeology, maps, paintings, photos, militaria and costume related to local history. Brass Rubbing Centre. Shop, toilets, disabled access, parking nearby.
Lynton & Barnstaple Railway, Woody Bay Station, Martinhoe Cross, Parracombe Narrow gauge railway. Steam & diesel hauled trains. Tea rooms, shop, wheelchair friendly. Well behaved dogs welcome.
Lundy Island 11 miles from the coast of North Devon, three miles long and half a mile wide. It is a place of outstanding natural beauty, simple pleasure, quite and peaceful. Medieval castle, seals, back rabbits, puffins, birds of prey, basking sharks. Sample local ales at the Marisco Tavern, buy special Lundy stamps. No dogs.

Old Corn Mill & Pottery, Hele Bay, Ilfracombe 16th century watermill. Rescued from dereliction & restored to working ill in 1973, producing 100% wholemeal stoneground flour and muesi. Hand made pottery. Cream teas and light refreshment.
Quince Honey Farm, North Road, South Molton The exhibition booths include hives that open at the press of a button revealing the secret life of the honeybee. All weather attraction. Shop with wide range of honey based and other products.

Watermouth Castle & Family Theme Park, Ilfracombe Museum, dungeons & the underground water spectacular, castle treasures, adventure land. Stroll through gardens to gnomeland, mini golf, rides & play areas. With shop, cafe & free parking. Pay the full admission price once and re-visit the park for £1.00 per person per visit.
