    Combe Martin - Mixture of sand & pebbles/shingle. At low tide rock pools, caves, golden sand. Shop, parking, toilets, disabled access, restaurant, watersports, safe swimming, dogs access restricted (please check).


    Croyde - A world famous sandy beach, backed by sand dunes and situated in a small bay. The stepped beach and rocks make it one of the best surfing spots in Europe. Blue Flag awarded for its water quality and facilities. Popular for safe swimming, surfing and sunbathing for all ages. Shops, off road parking, toilets, disabled access, watersports, refreshments, dogs access restricted (please check).


    Hartland Quay - A rocky shingled beach very popular for fishing and the breath taking views of the unique rock formation surrounding it. Small museum, toilets & cafe/restaurant, public house, gift shop, dogs access restricted on beach (please check).

    Hele Bay - A rocky bay, offering shingle and some sand at low tides. With much to explore. Fun for children with its abundance of rock pools. Shops, parking, toilets, disabled access, restaurant, watersports, safe swimming, dogs access restricted (please check).


    Lee Bay - A quaint and picturesque beach, Lee is quiet and peaceful. Wonderful rock pools and sand at low tide. Fabulous sun sets. Parking, toilets, disabled access, safe swimming, dogs allowed.


    Putsborough Sands - Long sweeping sands. Popular with families, plenty of rock pools to explore, ideal for children. This beach provides superb safe swimming and the rolling waves of the Atlantic makes this a surfers paradise. Windsurfs, canoes and a variety of other water sports available for hire. Shops, off road parking, toilets, disabled access, refreshments, restaurant, tea room/gift shop, dogs access restricted (please check).

    Saunton Sands - 3 mile long expanse of sandy beach facing due west. The takeaway shop is open throughout the year, together with the more formal facilities at the Sands Cafe Bar. Toilets, shop, disabled access, watersports, safe swimming, dogs allowed.


    Watermouth Bay - very secluded harbour creating an ecosystem for many rare marine species. Surrounded by rocks the bay is sheltered from wind and tidal forces. Many boats moor here for this reason. Parking, disabled access, watersports, safe swimming, dogs allowed.


    Woolacombe - 3 miles of golden sand. Very clean and tidy with ample facilities. Superb for safe swimming, surfing, windsurfing, sailing and sea canoeing.
